I bought 5 items yesterday on eBay (they all were related, all for a PS3, games, cables, console, headset, stuff like that but they were from 5 different sellers.). I go on the computer this morning and i have 1 new message from one of the sellers.

In short he says:

I have some problem with my paypal, all the money was refunded to your paypal account. I apologize for the problem. I already sent the package to you. Please resend the money to this address. thanks.

Is this guy just saying that to get $40 out of me twice? or is he sincere and it was just a problem?

Is their anyway to check on my paypal account if i was refunded $40? if so, how do i do it?

also, if anyone has ever gotten a message similar to this, tell me what happened (as in was it fake/sincere or what).

If it is sincere i will send him the money again, no problem. If it's a lie i'm definitely not sending it to him. At this moment, b/c i dont know whether i am going to get ripped off or not, i'm not gonna send it to him.

someone help me

  1. You like to fool around with transactions that may or may not be shady, you will always have some doubt. When one has been schooled in the " see before you buy " and " feel the merchandise before you commit" society one only has himself to blame if he gets stuck or is swindled.

  2. Simply log in to your paypal acct and it will show you if the money was refunded.

  3. log into your paypal account and check your balance. It should show you all your withdrawals and all your deposits. The refund should be a credit. If you don't see it check with the paypal administrator to inquire about the seller or if there are any pending credits that aren't showing yet. Don't send the seller any more money til you get your first refund.
