Is this something shocking or rather normal?

A 14 yrs old boy impregnant his 17yrs old gf. It happens to someone that i know,i know the parents. I feel very sorry for them. I know a lot girls pregnant by age 14-16,but their partnes are rather older. But 14yrs old boy? Or maybe im the one who left behind?

Even though it's not really that unusual, it's always shocking and sad, to hear about anyone that age being in that predicament.

Unfortunately it is not that shocking these days however I don't think many 17 year old girls date 14 year old boys.  I feel sorry for everyone involved.

Ever hear of Mary Laterneau (SP?)?  She got pregnant twice by her student who was under 16.  She was married and had kids of her own and was in her late twenties or early thirties.

She's now in prison.

girls getting pregnant early seems to be a popular past time in the USA. kids any earlier for me would have cramped my style i think.

That is odd, but these things do happen.  I honestly don't know why this girl was dating a boy who is 3 years younger than her.  It would normally be a boy aged 17 and girl aged 14.
