Actually, judging by the lyrics, it seems like kind of a creepy song to dance with your father to.  Sounds more like a love song, the type you should dance to with your new husband.

I love it.  There are some lovely songs out there for daddy-daughter dances.  When a song finds its way into your heart and is talking about YOUR daddy, that's the right song.

Be sure he has a handkerchief in his pocket at the reception.  Daddies have been known to cry.  :-)

I think it is PERFECT.  The message is great.  It isn't necessarily 'romantic'...it's about someone that means A LOT to another person...which is applicable
