  1. Usually SONY delivers, but at any rate when taking pictures try not to use zoom-in because it reduces the light on the lense and pictures might have speckles or noise. Move up or down yourself and leave the camera to zoom-out position. On low light shoots u use the flash which is reflected from the iris and get red eye pictures. there is a flash setting where u get a pre flash end then the second main flash and as a result the iris closes and dont get a reflection from the iris thus the red eye phenomemnon is avoided. May be the preflash is weak. Pocket cameras like this have small lenses since they are miniscule.

  2. This Camera Takes Nice Photos - Within Limits. ALL Small Cameras Have Low Light Limitations, Which Means They're Great For Daylight Photos. But, Their Indoor Shooting Will Be Much More Limited. A High ISO Will Improve Low Light Shooting But, Will Also Mean More 'Picture Noise' And Lower Quality Images. Also the Amount Of OPTICAL ZOOM Is Limited. And 'Zooming' Will Lower Quality More. If You Do A Lot Of 'Clubbing' You May Find The Photos Less Than Spectacular. Low Light 'Red-Eye' Just Means The Camera Will Use A Red-Eye Reduction Mode In low Light.

I Don't Have A Particular Camera In Mind. This One Is As Good As Any Ultra-Compact Out There. But, IF You Want Better Quality. You Will Need To Buy A Slightly Larger Camera. Not The Biggest, Just A Little Larger.
