Is it dumb to frame and hang your own artwork in your room?

Nope. It&#039;s not.  I do it, i have about 3 framed pieces on the wall with my art.

Why would it be?  I LOVE my paintings and I am proud of them.  I display them with appreciation.

Not at all!

Images, pictures, drawings, paintings often look very different once framed and hung, so can be a good source of reflection or inspiration for your next piece.

Bear in mind that a painting also takes something from its environment, so you might like to see it hung in other rooms too, just to see how it &quot;works&quot;.

Most of all, be proud of what you create! :-)

Heck, NO!!!  On the HGTV channel they are ALWAYS doing paintings just to hang on the wall for color, statement and pizazz.  It&#039;s like putting photos of your own kids on the wall!  FLAUNT IT!  It&#039;s your creation...be PROUD of it!  My walls are COVERED of portraits of my husband, kids and DOGS!!! It&#039;s about all that there IS on the wall!!!

no...i do it. i think when you display creations of yourself it is much more genuine than buying something for display. after all you made it, you like it, why shouldnt you do what you want with it?

and it shows the world your skill and love for doing art.

i put ca copy of the manuscript of my book on my dresser,...

i guess thats art to.
