I would say that the look you refer would look trashy on anyone. It's just not a classy look.

It depends on what you wear those things with. If you wear a short skirt and a low cut top at the same time you're going to look S****y no matter who you are. If you wear a short skirt but cover up the top or low cut shirt but cover up the bottom you can pretty much get away with it because you're not exposing everything at the same time.

No I don't think it is, any girl who wears short skirts and a low cut tops at the same time will look trashy! It doesn't matter how pretty or innocent she looks, she will still look trashy if she wears these two styles together. However, we have to remember that some people do indeed have a more trashy look than others, think fake big b***s and blond hair, and so they will not be able to wear some things that perhaps a tall, slim brunette could wear without looking trashy. It also depends on the individual items of clothing, for how trashy they are on their own. So maybe, some girls can wear more revealing clothes than others without looking trashy, but whatever the person, low cut tops and short skirts should not be worn together unless its really really hot outside and you are at the beach! Class comes from being respectably dressed and covering up abit, show all your flesh and you will look trashy.

no it's just what type of body you have if you are large then you definitely shouldn't be wearing little clothes but even being little you can still look trashy you parents are right when the say let then use their imagination cover up and let them wonder

well, i've seen some girls get in trouble for the dress code while others don't even thought their clothing is trashier, so to some extent it's true.

i tihnk it is true because What i've realized over the past years is that no matter how hard you try.. if a ugly or not so pretty girl wears sumthing trashy it looks SO BAD & everyones like omg trashhhhhh but when a naturally pretty girl wears it .. it all of a sudden becomes kool . IT PISSES ME OFF . i mean im not the ugliest thing ever but im not the prettiest either & i have 2 oolder sisters who have been offered modeling contracts even when theyre just walking around the mall. & theyre absolurtly gorgeous but ME im not. its kinda annoying cuzz you could never really look perfect. but them they always do cuzz they have a pretty face. but yeah i guess thats how life works people are just attracted to beauty. But you know what i dont let that get in the way because there are much more important things then beauty on the outside. its the beauty on the inside & thats what makes a great person.

I can't get away with short skirts because I have really long legs. I also blessed in the breast department so I think it is inappropriate to show everyone my cleavage. So yeah especially combining both elements to an outfit= extra trashy. If she has fake tan, heavy makeup and dyed hair and costume jewellery it's seen as tasteless and tacky combined with tarty clothes. Yet nobody seems to moan at models like Kate Moss for wearing a mini skirt or a low top.

Yes, this is true.  But you also have to consider why the "naturally" trashy girls look trashy in the first place.  Once you look at these few points, you'll find that there is no such person as "naturally" trashy, but just a few discrepancies in her look.  

First, if a person chooses anything low cut, the straps should not be spaghetti straps.  When it comes to low cut tank tops, the thicker the strap, the better.  When a person opts for a short skirt, make sure to wear panties!! I would not choose to wear knee-high boots with a skirt but rather some classy stilettos.  Any excess string or loose stitch should be repaired before wearing this look.  Often, a trashy look could be avoided by purchasing higher quality fabrics.  Another tip would be to minimize the makeup when wearing a potential "trashy" look.  I'm assuming the point would be to look s**y, not S****y.  And of course, have clean hair and good hygiene wouldn't hurt either.
