Is this statement about girls in regards to relationships true?

Seems like it though, doesn't it? It especially rings true to the popular group in High School. One day, it's this guy, the next day a new guy. It's crazy. (No offense to any of the popular girls answering on here. I'm just making a generalization.)

That's called a sterotype! It's like saying all red heads are hot heads. All men in a realationship just want s*x! It isn't always the case. You might find some girls like that but not all.

um that is very generalized. i know with my last boyfriend when i broke up with him i "let go of the branch" right away. i didnt have another branch to even grab onto at the time.

That is silly, there are plenty of girls out there who do not feel the need to be in a relationship constantly, just like there are plenty of guys out there who must always be in a relationship.  It is just one of those stereotype things.

It's a generalized statement, so while it may be true for some, it doesn't hold true for all.

I've known plenty of girls who can't be alone and plenty of girls who are secure enough with themselves that they don't need to be in a relationship.

That is such a vague statement and can be applied to either s*x within almost every experience in life.

Girls/females are not unstable in comparison to boys/males, but at times should either realize that they are not in a relationship worthy of them some(not all) aren't able to end such relationship and look again until they are reassured that better is within grasp.

it is only true about some girls.

my guess is that it is true of maybe 25 percent of girls/women.

BTW  - it isn't true for all monkeys, either.

maybe that's true for some girls, but not all.  I actually loved being single (back when I was), it' liberating to not have to answer to anyone, to be responsible for your own actions, maybe even play the field a little.  I've known many girls who just can't function if they're not in a relationship, but I've also known plenty of girls who rock the single life like theres no tommorrow.

It can be. For example, in the past I have had a boyfriend, Don, but liked someone else, Aaron, more. But I wouldn't dump Don [even though I no longer liked him] until I was absolutely certain Aaron really liked me. Unfortunately, I waited too long and Aaron and I grew apart, and I ended up breaking up with Don anyway.

A lot of girls, including me sometimes, will date or hang out with a guy who likes them, even if the girl doesn't feel the same way. It feels good to be around someone who likes you. And if a guy is really nice and likes me, I often find myself liking them, just for the fact that they liked me first.

So. It can be true. But it's only true if you LIKE someone, not love someone. If you love them, most girls will take the risk. If I was dating someone of if someone liked me, but I loved someone else, I would without a doubt go for the person I loved.
