Imagine that, the SHEIK as our RAW GM?!

Although I think that having The Sheik as our GM would be slightly exciting because it's out of the blue, there would be NO chance that having a guy who's attitude was that he didn't like Americans, would not go down well with the fans (generally) thus not boosting ratings. And I doubt that the Internet fans would be bothered but they would ask endless Q's about it.

Iron Sheik is still a recognized character due to the stereotypical look he had during the 80's, but what makes him hilarious would actually not be allowed in the WWE. His shoots and constant bashing of guys like Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior would not be allowed, so people that know him for that would be disappointed.

Also, a lot of newer fans never saw him wrestle, so that doesn't help, either.

Correct, Sheiky baby, equal big big big money, Mr. Vince McMahon. Oh I can just imagine those interviews:

"OK John Cena, you want the WWE world title, well then you must beat the man Batista , in that ring, that ring, right now. And you must beat him in the match, for the world title match later on, on PPV Ok. You and Batista wrestle right now in that match, and winner gets a WWE world title match against the champion Punk. Now you win and you get the title match huh, but......but, if you lose, you will not get the world title, you get nothing, you get nothing, and you will not win the WWE World title and you will be no good little F** like Michael Jackson".

I dont think it would boost ratings that much to be honest. Alot of the younger fans that watch the WWE dont even know who Iron Sheik is because he stopped wrestling before they started watching. It depends on age.
