Im going to say Incorrect on this one, I don't think Chris Jericho could get any more heat than he is already getting out of this feud with Shawn Michaels. This definetly will go down as one of, if not the most rememberable feuds in his career. I don't think he necessarily needs the title right now, hes quickly becoming the best heel in WWE without it. The promo interview he did last night was amazing and he has been on a roll. I think JBL or Kane would benefit more than Jericho in winning the title off of CM Punk.

correct, jericho sort of has that same style as cm punk but jericho has better mic work. Would I like to see him win the title? yes, but not right now because he's currently in a feud with Shawn Michael's. I think kane or JBL would do good with the title but kane kind of deserves it more.

He is the next guy on Raw that deserves a nice solid title reign with a good feud. Y2J really got screwed out of the title with that side lining feud he had with JBL after just one match for the championship. After his return he slow went backwards into the ranks to be IC champ (not de-crediting the title) when he should have stayed in the main ranks and started some nice feuds.

He would if a face won the belt such as Batista or cena. but otherwise no, not amazingly.

Jericho would benefit, but CM Punk wouldn't if the reign doesn't last 1-2 more months.

Jericho probably isn't a World Champion again because he doesn't generate that big of a reaction compared to John Cena and Batista, not to mention that CM Punk is someone new and different in the main-event circle that isn't "Superman" or "roided" or "shoved down everyone's throat".

If Jericho won the WHC, he would STILL be admired as a good wrestler, while CM Punk would be a "paper champion" to everyone but his fans.
