  1. Witch hazel is a gentle toner and is cheap Ask for BP witch hazel from your pharmacist. Diet, exercise and loads of water combined with genetics are what dictates the shape your skin is in. Sun screen will slow down the wrinkles. None of it is expensive or glamorous and it won't help if "retail therapy" is your thing but there you go honey.

  2. It depends.  Some people are causing their acne to stay bad by using too many products.  Some people need extra help.  There are people who can do next to nothing and have clear skin.  If nothing else, it's worth a try.

  3. That's...kind of...sort of true. Some acne or skin products can be bad for your skin. Some can cause a lot of irritation or itching.  True the toner with alcohol dries skin but it dries the oil. Try putting some lotion on after that. That way your skin can be soft and non oily. Try washing your face with apricot or peach scrub every night with warm water and drink one cup of water every morning to clean out your "system". Thats the simplest thing you can do and it works =]

  4. Yes , very true

You are what you eat and toners with alcohol will make your skin worse ( toners without alcohol are good ) .

Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn't matter exactly what type of soap you use.

Drink plenty of water. Staying well hydrated can help your condition improve, because the "waste management" control system in your body requires a lot of water to do its job. Without enough water, the body has difficulty removing some waste products efficiently.

and for your diet : Vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin that helps you have beautiful, healthy hair and skin. You can find vitamin A from fruits and vegetables. Dark green vegetables and deep yellow vegetables as fruits give you a good dose of vitamin A by providing carotenes. Oatmeal is a good source of vitamin A, as well as cantaloupe, honeydew melon, broccoli, spinach and sweet potato.

Vitamin E helps to normalize decreased levels of antioxidant enzymes. This is often prevalent in male acne patients, but vitamin E has proven beneficial to both male and female acne sufferers.

Selenium works much like vitamin E in that it also helps to normalize decreased levels of antioxidant enzymes. Selenium can be found in foods such as vegetables, meats and bread. Some nuts, such as Brazil nuts and walnuts are also rich in selenium.
