  1. It should be fine since it's in the fridge and it doesnt smell bad.

  2. look at the hamberger if its gray smells i toss it

  3. If it is not slimy and still smells fine then go ahead and cook it up.  I would not wait, it needs to be cooked.

  4. How does it smell and look. If it smells and looks fine then go ahead and make meatballs with it. If not throw it away. If you do cook with it make sure the meatballs are cooked thoroughly. You should do this with any ground beef.

  5. I'll expand on AnimalFilter's answer and say that it doesn't even have to be pink -- after 3 or 4 days in the fridge, it's likely it will have turned gray, but it's still fine to cook it as long as it smells fresh. I've found that usually a week is the outer limit of how long you leave it raw.

  6. It's fine.  So long as it's pink and smells good.  3 days in the fridge is no big deal if it was frozen to begin with.

  7. If it smells okay, then it is okay to use.  You are going to cook the meatballs, right?  If it has any "off" smell you would be better off throwing it out.

  8. I have a standing policy when it comes to food. "When in doubt, toss it out!"

  9. A strong or concnetrated smell of the meat is okay, but a "sour" smell is not okay. Your nose and stomach will tell you if it is a bad small.

It's probably just got done defrsting all the way if you pulled it out Friday.

  10. i would use it up tonight somehow.  Bad meat has a noticable odor.  Raw meat smells, but bad meat smells worse.  I'm not sure how to describe it, but if you have had it in the fridge then it will be fine.

  11. if it was in your freezer i would say ok. but in your refridgerator it might be bad
