Is this story true?

the story about the semi truck that got stuck in NYC and they all those engeneers trying to figure out how to get it unstuck (such as moving the bridge etc). then a little girl siad they should just remove some of the air from the tires of the truck to get it out. if it is true could someone give me a link to the story.

Its an urban legend. The whole point of the story is that many time the most elaborate plans and ideals are a waste of time and quite often a simple solution is right in front of you.
