Probably I betting the military doesn't have to follow normal traffic laws. They do tear up the streets pretty bad one of the reasons you don't see them on the road. And no you can't have one.

of course it is. I mean who's gonna be able to stop you from driving it, I mean the police wouldn't exactly be able to use their formations to bring you to a stop... SO i guess you can drive it as long as no one can stop you...lol

It would be legal if the tracks were removed and tires put in place because many places sell tanks and there are used on public roads once they pass the vehicle inspections.................

Several years ago.... someone decided to actually drive one of those through the city streets and freeways of San Diego.

No, its too wide, and too tall. Besides there are laws regarding tracked vehicles on city streets.  Why do you never see someone driving a bulldozer down to the job site, that its always on a trailer being towed by a semi?
