Is this supposed to happen?

I have to take a picture for my student ID tomorrow and uh oh, I just got two zits. I don't own cover up because usually, I have clear skin. When I do get zits, I put rubbing alcohol on them but I read that toothpaste works well too so I decided to try that. I put the toothpaste on and now the spots feel really weird, like cold and burny at the same time. You know, like when something's so cold that it burns? So is this normal or should I take it off, like will it ruin my skin?

  1. I don't know if toothpaste works on zits or not. And I wouldn't know if it's actually good for you skin or not. But I don't think it'll harm your skin.

But the cooling sensation is probably because of the mint most toothpastes have. or maybe some other chemical. But toothpaste does cool the skin. that's why every time you burn you self (a finger or something) it's always good to put toothpaste on it and leave it on for awhile. it'll cool the skin and most probably you won't get a bad blister.

My suggestion is go get some cover up makeup.

Edit: I forgot to say that if it burns, like really burns then take it off. but if it's just the cooling sensation you're getting then i don't see any harm in it.

  2. take it off, take it off now!!  If it burns, it doesn't work for you and can ruin your skin.  toothpaste doesn't work for everyone

  3. i use toothpaste  on my zits sumtimes and it does the same thing , it ends up making them dry out kinda like a scab that you can just scratch off and theres no mark where it was.

  4. no no no. Dont use toothpaste, and rubbing alchol drys it out but when ever i use it it just makes a scab. When ever i have a zit, i use this product called acne free, or natures cure. It comes with face wash too, what i do is, take the cream it comes with and rub it on the pimple, and then leave a little glob of it on, and usually by the morning time it is gone.. I also have been using oxy face wash and it helps too.

There are vitamins called hair skin and nails, that has really worked with my skin big time.

    hope i helped!

  5. no take it off!!!

    toothpaste just burnssss.

    it doesnt help with zits.

    ive tried it.

  6. it wont ruin your skin.it probably just feels cold/burning because of the mint in it.but toothpaste is good for zits so leave it on overnight

  7. The toothpaste you are using probably has too much mintyness in it for zits

ask your mom to borrow some foundation or cover up to fix the problem

or can you pay for photoshopping on your photo?

also if its that important have her run you to the store and buy some
