Question:

Is this the End to the Angels?

They lost the series to the Rays 2-1. These are the same Rays that many "baseball gurus" on YA have been predicting, since before the All-Star break, are ready to fall apart. And they still are only 1/2 game back from the 2 best records.

Here's the question: Do the Rays remind you of the 2003 Marlins or even the 69 Amazing Mets (who were also cellar-dwellers for the first 6 yrs of their existance)??

  1. Really, do you people do these questions because you're really bored?

Angels have the best record in the AL and you're asking if it's the "end of the Angels."

With each day, this group gets more stupid.

PS, yes, please, explain the "sarcasm" of your post, I don't think you know what the word means. Also tell me what "befire" means, oh wise Professor.

  2. No it is not the end of the Angels.  In a short 3 game series anyone can win.  When the playoffs start what you did non the regular season means nothing.  The post season should be interesting.

  3. I give the Rays credit for winning the Series against a very good Angels team.

  4. No i don't think so..

buut the bullpen has been shaky and the offense hasn't been that great.. thank goodness they're coming home because the road trip was horrible for em.

Then they are going against the Twinkies who also have a very good and underrated team.. ooh.. well at least the starters have been doing extremely well! ^^

    As for the rays?..

I will say this, i do not understand the people who are doubting their chances of winning AL East and i certainly do not understand why they have about 19000-21000 fans each night.. i mean a good team needs support!!!

  5. Probably just the beginning.  They are a solid team and positioned well for the playoffs.

  6. No, the chase for the best record shouldn't decipher if its the end or not for a team, heck if anything it should be a good thing.

A season series is no big deal, just ask any other Red Sox fan.  We swept them twice (home and away) and we might see them again in the playoffs so it doesn't mean its automatic for a team to win just because they have their number.

There is still more than a month of baseball left, and it was just a phase the Angels are going through, but nothing to worry about, they're going to the playoffs for sure, however the Rays can't say that with more than a month to play and the Red Sox get hot this time around.

  7. its not the end to anything  they lost 2 of 3 that doesnt mean they suck

  8. I myself predict the Rays to fly into the playoffs. But no, I do not think it is an end to the Angels.
