I believe other minorities who are not Black, such as Hispanics, Asians and Middle Easterners are super JEALOUS of the fact that an African American man has come so far as to possibly become the very first Non-White President of the USA. This thought must eating up the other minorities who doesn't have the guts to run for the Presidency and sees a Black man doing with conviction and no fear!

I'm Asian, and living in this country I've been thru discriminations from other Asians and Hispanics toward me so I know exactly how competitive Minorities are toward each other to be the first one in line to be accepted by Whites. This is the truth isn't it for you other non-black minorities who are jealous of OBAMA and so you're voting for the real racist McCain only because of SKIN color? This is really sad when someone like Obama is risking his life and do break the barrier of racism in the US politics! Why are other minorities so jealous of this and not see the bigger picture?

  1. I think you sound like a racist. Many people will be voting against Obama because he is a Marxist/Communist who hates freedom. And they come in many colors.

  2. Obama is half white and half black why do you play the race game with him..Is it the color of his skin you're going by?

  3. You can say whatever stupid nonsense you want. McCain will still be the winner. Obama is not fit for the office of president or even the senate. He would not be there at all except for the corrupt black district in chicago.

  4. Obama Rocks.  He is about change, it does not matter what color he is.  If, he is going to change, all that was so wrong from these last 8 years, than he surely does have my vote.  I can not wait unti November 4, 2008.  So, that I can cast my ballot.

  5. I realize you were asking this to "minorities," but as a white person I think it is important to point out that the only ones making a big deal out of the fact that someone is a "minority" are the "minorities" themselves.  Surrounding Obama's entire campaign is the over-used line of the fact that he would be the first president to be a minority, but I fail to see how this is of any relevance to his ability to lead a nation.

You are possibly right in that minorities are jealous that a black man is nominated to president, but I doubt very highly it is because they want the approval of whites.  We are no better than anyone else, and I fail to see why such a big deal is being made over it, especially considering the fact that we are all AMERICAN... Not african-american, latin-american, native-american, or any other compound name we want to invent.  We are AMERICAN.. full stop, period.  Maybe some of the "minorities" need to quit being so worried about why they think their race is better and start calling each other americans... i mean, after all, don't the minorities pitch a fit when whites do that to them?
