The truth is scary, but it's true. Religions are governmental methods of trying to create order out of chaos. Religion naturally evolved as we tried to make sense of our existence but were recognised as weaknesses by governments and exploited. The people who exploit weakness for government purpose are a different breed. They are pure predators. Nature produces them to do the things they do, like cause trouble to aid technological advancement of man kind. You see it's only through trouble that we advance and the truth is, is that we are a species. A product of the earth and driven by nature to suceed at the demise of the next man. It's how we stay strong. It's our design.

Because that is the route that strong large more advanced people have used to access their own power. What is Govt, if not the strongest Gang? They have thier own enforcers, their own Propagandists, their own affiliated groups, punishment regiemes,

prospectors, initiation processes, etc. Life is gang culture.

  1. I'm going to say...no.

  2. The meaning of life is that we are still in the caves mentally and pursue the same ends now as we did then . Our technology is just a means to the same end . As now as then there is the strongest  that take the choice cuts of meat and the most desirable women or men and use any method to achieve there ends, The only difference is that we dress it up with fancy laws and rules that are immediately abandoned when violent disagreement happens. Our ancestors would be rightly proud of us.

  3. I was pondering that same thought recently.

I question if advancement was/is the root of our problem.  But I know for sure that it is has been used as a weapon. Religion was also used, Promise of good leadership and guidance is also used. Knowledge in fact is also used.

So I'm still stuck on the true source or motive of these pure predators. I also agree with you somewhat about "gangs". Human nature live in groups like lions, wolves, elephants, dolphins etc... we are not loners by nature like bears, snakes and turtles etc... In older tribes or communities, there were more than one leader such as the elders, the doctor etc... but they all worked together and made decisions together  perhaps the flaw was indecision, or perhaps one was not heard and became bitter. I'll continue to ponder, reflect hope.

PS I don't think the govt is the strongest gang. But there are a large amount within it who are and or persuaded predators and unwelcome parasites.

  4. well it seems like it is your answer. O personally am happy without an answer.

YOur resoning is flawed - In america where the ste and church are not entwined hte church has a lot more clout in politics and there is a lot more rleigion- In U.K the opposite.

Government in a democracy is there to serve the people - they get voted in and voted out. they have no security of tenure. It is up to all the people to make sure that the democracy works.

I dont know what your political system is but ours is wound up in red tape by civil servants and the existing law.

Poliicians actually have quite a hard time of it changing anything within that system. They are made to resign over any bullying behaviour liek amking jokes about oppressed groups.

Given that we have different styles of government and religion throughout the world it cannot be said to be the meaning of life overall.

  5. Partially right. You are right about religion and government. It's about creating order, giving meaning to life, giving life a purpose and direction. It's about 'best' man wins. But we don't always or necessarily succeed at the demise of the next man. Life is NOT always gang culture. And No, this is NOT the answer to the meaning of life. You are talking about what is happening, not what OUGHT to be happening. What is happening may be 'life' but the meaning of life is what ought to be happening and much deeper.

  6. I agree with you on all points.. except this does not constitute a meaning of life. Yes, We are a product of the earth, a complex species that is driven by one simple fact. " The strong are born to prey upon the weak " .. Its evident in many animal species, that the runt of the litter has a small chance of survival... but there is still a chance. Sure ..Religion may have been created to organize the masses with mythical  punishments etc.. but it gives the runts of the litter Hope.   Hope is something that is not easy broken and can be effectively profitable. Rome wasn't built in a day.. you know..

However, The meaning of life is a question that can not be answered with a generalized answer. The meaning of life is created though personal experiences of the individual.. so its varies from person to person. All you can do is live your life to the fullest.. and regret nothing..that way your life will be meaningful.

  7. Yes you are absolutely correct in light of what happened in earth's past.  This is the reason for the flood myths that are similar all over the earth.  Man learned violence and their imaginations of the heart was evil continually from the parents to the children.  What future generation would ever have a chance to break this cycle?.

But some say that did not really happen.  So I ponder the reality that man is doomed to repeat their mistake.  This is why religion is more powerful than what you perceive it to be.  Since religion acknowledges an intelligence greater than man.  And that it helped man once before by creating a new race of people to inhabit the earth.   Just as God's son Jesus Christ makes new sons and daughters by faith.   God will have to save man again so that gang rule will not prevail.  But God's will will finally be done on the earth as it was meant to be.

  8. It might just be ;-)

You are very smart. Cause I think alike lol ;-))

Seriously, I've thought and thought and studied and pretty much climbed aboard all ideas and this is grossly the only one that stuck.

We're a gang species, a survival creature. That's that. That's life, the truth, and the whole meaning.....

  9. "The truth is scary, but it's true." Well yes, something that's true is called the truth. Whether it scares you or not is subjective.

But then truth is subjective too. What's true from your perspective isn't necessarily true from mine. Pontius Pilate understood this but for some reason he always gets a bad press.

  10. no,it is not the answer to the meaning of life.

  11. what will be will be...

  12. Wherever you got this text, it is right!

But it is not the meaning of life. The meaning of life is TO LIVE, so enjoy every minute of it and don't let anybody or anything spoil it!

The fact that there is nothing after life only makes every moment of it more precious.

    Enjoy, brother!

  13. It's not the meaning of life, it is how life has been allowed to develop. Government is the result of the people of the land, governments can only develop from the thoughts of the people. The more people think the more they can influence their government. Instead of the reality which is more and more governments influencing the people. That's why democracy, even though the world would like to demonise it, is the best and only tool we have at our disposal, presently, in which to influence.

  14. It sounds like anti Government propaganda.  The government was voted in by the people, and if you don't like it, protest, go on strike, or vote them out.  The rest is all your own, and those that think like you, fault.

    Peace.

  15. You got the part about religion existing to create order out of chaos, but you lost me after that.

You have some points, but none address the MEANING of life.  To be a theory about this, you would need to address "why we are here", not "government is a gang."

  16. no the meaning of life in my opinion is, u need to dicover ur own purpose, the meaning of life is different for every single person. people need to discover this or they will never acheive what they truly want

  17. The "meaning of life" has no answer as it isn't a question.
