I just read this answer, it is very wise, i think:

Obama asked for 1 million in earmarks for Michelles hospital she works at. Obama even got his buddy Pfleger 225,000 in Earmarks. He also had requested 1 million a DAY for wasteful spending.

So Obama's wasteful spending plans with TAX EVERYTHING plan would put us in a DEPRESSION and I think thats what he wants to do- it makes sense ....

McCain is VERY against wasteful spending and has NEVER asked for any Earmarks.

  1. No,

What you think your in right now other than a depression.

  2. Well for starters, to correct Utopia, we're not in a depression.  Not even close.  A depression is defined as a severe economic downturn that lasts several years.  More than likely, we're headed into recession which is two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth.  The economy is slow, no doubt, but by definition, it's neither a depression or recession right now.  As far as Obama wasting taxpayer dollars, that should be no surprise.  He wants higher taxes on just about everything.  McCain's not that far behind himself unfortunately.  But as for causing a depression with overspending, that is highly unlikely.  There are some parallels right now to what it was like in 1929 before the Great Depression, but something like that will be overted before it even begins to take place. Don't worry, in a year or two, we'll be back to normal.
