Do you like how parody has come to baseball? There was a great trade season and now the pennant races are so tight! There are so many exciting young kids!

The best pennant race ever was probably 1967 in the AL.  Final standings were:

Boston 92-70

Detroit 91-71

Minnesota 91-71

Chcago 89-73

Going into the last day of the season any of the 3 teams could have won.  Boston beat the Twins 5-3 while Detroit split a doubleheader with the Angels.  Meanwhile the White Sox ended the season with a 5 game losing streak.

I grew up in the 1970's in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and 1975 was the most exciting year in the history of baseball with the best World Series ever! The way the game is played today frustrates me as the players don't seem to have the enthusiasm and desire they once had! Money has killed the game!
