Question:

Is this the big difference regarding the experience issue?

Obama takes his inexperience into the Oval Office on day 1 if elected.

Palin wouldn't be in that position unless something happened to McCain. Of course no one knows but, given his vigor and health, is not likely.

People are overlooking the fact that Palin is the VP nominee.

Obama is the Presidential nominee - big difference when it comes down to who's going to be leading on Day 1.

John McCain is ready Day 1.

  1. mccain being ready on day 1 is no longer of concern, having been replaced by sarah's experience or lack of same. With the stress of the presidency, john (if elected) will be 72--and literally, sarah would be a heartbeat away from the top job. That's scary, and i'd say the same thing if she were a he.

  2. You are so right and Palin enters the VP position with more experience than Obama.

    She hunts moose

    She fishes

TV Sports reporter, Pres of PTA, then City council for 4 years, then Mayor then for 4 years, then Lt Govenor for 4 years, now Govenor for 2 years.

She has an approval rate of over 80% the highest in the USA.

    Mother of 5

Oldest son in the US Army

Youngest son born with Downs Syndrome, they knew and still had the child.

She actually has visited the troops in Lanstuhl hospital in Germany.

Her husband is a real man who has won the snowmobiler 2000-mile "Iron Dog" race. 4 times.

    Her husband is native American.

    Hot d**n what a VP

  3. Yes, there is a big difference.  McCain brings with him experience, Obama has ziltch!  If something should happen to McCain (unlikely as it may be), Palin would select a VP with experience, just like Obama has done, only it's unlikely that her selection would be a Biden type who has been on the Hill for decades and is solidly entrenched.

McCain made an excellent choice and this ridiculous outcry by the Y!A libs, clearly demonstrates it.

  4. Not only that, but she has political leadership experience - mayor and governor.  I'm not trying to take away from the experience Obama does have in politics, but he has never been in charge of anything, especially to that degree.
