Question:

Is this the black man's plight in the USA?

My co-worker said that is the problem with being black in America. No matter how much education you have, you are locked out of ositions that give you experience and then when you try for something you are told that you don't have the right experience.

  1. I'm black ....I can only half agree....it hasn't been my experience but I know plenty of my friends who have that problem. However my AMERICAN experience is as long as you know the right people ...you can get anything.


  2. That would be an Equal Opportunity dilemma. Everybody gets to face it, regardless of race, creed, gender or color. It's a toughie, but millions have survived it. Millions of others have used it as an excuse for giving up without really trying. The only exception I know of are the people who get to ride on the family laurels and are ushered into inherited positions. They have the gift of zero personal credibility.
