Is this the greatest final lap of a Moto Grand Prix ever?

The new Moto GP season is starting soon, and hopefully we'll see a return to the hyper-competitive nature of the 2006 season than the dominant 2007 season for Stoner.

To get everyone in the mood for the season, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me of a more exiting final lap than this one in Moto GP. It's Toni Elias' win in Estoril in 2006.

The Estoril win was first class however!

Yes certainly in the 990 era that is a contender for the most exciting final lap.

But another one to consider was also in 2006. Assen, with Hayden and Edwards swapping positions on several occasions, and Colin crashing out on the last corner.

Wasn't 2006 a good year!?

of all the gps i have had the pleasure in watching schwantz has to be my all time favourite ( wiggysan ) some of his moves were simply breathtaking and am so happy i had the pleasure to meet this guy and spend time in the suzuki hospitality suite with him wat a down to earth man he is too yes elias's win was good but unfortunately the crown has to go to kevin gerrin it all squirilly schwantz
