Question:

Is this the kiss of death for McCain?

In this campaign so far we've had disavowals of the support of those with questionable views on both sides; Pastor Wright and Bill Cunningham. But when a man who in plain sight of the world has no idea what it takes to responsibly lead a world power declares you're ready to lead the nation, is it time to pack up your toys and go back to one of the homes you've forgotten you own?

  1. Robert, you have a comma splice in your answer.  The question has no grammatical errors save a missing comma in the first clause and another after "who" in the second clause to introduce the parathetical clause. Clauses can have more than ten words in them.  Read a style guide.

Bush who? Note they sent Cheney as far away as possible during the RNC.

Palin is the kiss of Death for McCain.  She will shore up the conservative vote but Obama will gain 5-10 points because she was a poor choice.

  2. When Bush speaks the world yawns. What a great endorsement. Tomorrow, Dan Quale will sing McCain's praises and still find time to spell 'potato'.

  3. No!

  4. One can only hope so.

  5. The Governor of Alaska was the correct choice. With due respect to Senator and Mrs Obama: America is not (on this occasion) ready, for a Black President.

  6. The only observation I can make is that since McCain picked Sarah Palin as his VP i have never witnessed a more vicious sexist smear campaign than what I've seen here and in the media.

    I can smell the desparation.

White men already support McCain because he has balls.

Now women who want to support a bright successfull woman will also have a reason to vote Republican.

Makes the Dems a little nervous.

  7. By the time the election rolls by Mc Cain will forget that he is running and throw his weight behind Putin or somebody.

  8. You should all consider real change and constructive legislation leadership,

    VOTE  NADER!

  9. That should tell you a lot.  If old Bushie is supporting McCain...then we probably want to get as far away from him as possible...but then...we run into a brick wall with Obama.  d**n!

  10. Thank you mdfalco for a wonderful question which has no grammatical errors, save a missing comma in the first clause and another after "who" in the second clause to introduce the parathetical clause.

  11. It may be the kiss of death for the Democrats. The muck raking by some of their supporters in the last few days will bounce back at them and then stay to haunt them right up to November 2nd

  12. The man looks like death warmed over; I'd say anything that kisses him is done for.
