You also can't criticize McCain because he's a POW and if you criticize him that must mean you hate the troops.

But OBAMA?!?! Scoff!! He's an anti-american racist militant black supremist liberation theologist who won't wear a lapelle pin!!!

Obama's also the Democratic Nominee.  He's basically the standard bearer for the party, making him the prime target for the Republicans.

As for strategy, I'm sure that the Republicans can come up with more and more attacks to lay down on Barack Obama.  As will the Democrats respond with the McSame arguments.

Well I think the people they were referring to, were the political establishment (feminists,and the victim industry) who have taken over the left side of the democratic party. These particular groups who control it agenda are further disconnected from the mainstream of the party. The Democratic party's constituency for the most part doesn't fit in idealistically with its biggest ideologues. You can criticize McCain. This is America, we are free to examine the background of any person seeking office in our country. However we have to be able to do so without regard to party affiliation. Having said that we should always do so with dignity and respect. I believe up until this point it has been no secret that the media has been in the tank for O'bama. They demonstrate this through their inability to raise questions about his background, inexperience, and his questionable relationships. We need to know who this guy is and why he made connections with anti-American types upon deciding to enter politics. And why he stayed in a church that dispensed such hateful bile for twenty years. These are all legitimate questions but at the same time they aren't being asked. And the fact that O'bama wouldn't wear a lapel pin just reiterates the original point.

So who's afraid ??? People who's agendas are challenged by a powerful principled conservative woman.

FYI: George H. Bush named Dan Quayle, who was ridiculed by the media as being too inexperienced, but he rallied the base. At the moment he was named, Bush trailed Dukakis by 8 points. He ended up winning by 12 points.
