  1. That's kind of like saying that if the guy wasn't crossing the street I wouldn't have hit him.

If you can call it a government they are crooked as can be.

Send money to aid the people and they have to end up buying it from the ones who took the air drop.

We need to take care of our own and forget about other nations.

We are in bad enough shape here as it is. Have you heard of any air drops being made to help out people here when Mt. St. Helen's went off, or the bridge collapsed?

How about New Orleans? Any help from other countries?

  2. Corruption

  3. Reading this article, it doesn't sound like Nigeria is going down the toilet at all - in fact, it seems that he country is doing quite well by th eilicit profiteering of some of its citizens.  In fact, our nation agrees in principal that many maks of Nigerian fraud are themselves parties to the crime.  The New Yorker ran a painfully apt article on the subject

which shows that our country isn't much less warped than there's.  How in this day and age can people still fall for this stuff?

  4. poverty, corruption, and disease is rampant in this area. everyone is doing ANYTHING that will provide for their families including trafficking drugs, poaching, and killing.
