For some reason every time i apply pressure on my hands or feet i get pain the next day. For example if i do push ups or any activity like that . Is this normal because i am the only that feels like this among my siblings. they never get this pain. Can it be the start of arthritis.

  1. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and attended Pilate's for nine months. Pilate's is all floor work, you use the weight of your own body to build up muscles. It was just one one hour session per week, after that I collapsed into bed for the afternoon. I was then in pain all the following day but then the pain subsided. Exercise like push ups needs to be done on a regular basis, so every day, or every other day, but not just once a month when you feel like it. The body has to be allowed to build up slowly to exercise, otherwise you can do more harm than good. At the end of Nine months I had no problem, no pain, in fact was happy to do Pilate's everyday! I still do my exercises once a week for one hour at home, just to keep the muscle tone. Best of Luck

  2. i used to have that in my wrists but i got some charopractic treatment an wheyhey it was gone. i would recomend liz newman in Glostershire. shes my auntie

  3. It could be, but only a doctor could tell you for sure.  You might then get a prescription to help you cope.

  4. i know what you mean and it might be....see the doc. i work on the computer all day then if i go home and do alot with my hands or do any lifting the next day my wrists are weak and have throbbing pain. i think it may be arthritis or carpo tunnel. i take an advil and rub some bengay on my hand and wrist before bed and when i wake up im like new!
