A Swedish wrestler threw his bronze medal to the ground and stormed of the podium in a stupid protest. I hate bad losers and hope he is stripped of his medal, drug tested and put on the next plane home. Anyone agree ?

  1. I'm with you on this one. There is nothing worse than a sore loser's display. As for the host country, this is the biggest joke olympics in all of History.

  2. If you've ever been to Sweden, you know that this is most out of character.  I imagine that no one is more embarrassed about this than the Swedes.

  3. He had reasons. I'm questioning the integrity of the host country in this Olympic as well.

  4. Likely a case of roid rage.

It makes me wonder what kind of wonderful experimental performance enhancing drugs he was on.

  5. I'm with DT. What about the underage gymnast? How is that fair?

  6. Mandarin

Before you start ranting, raving and braying, go back to link posted about, read the whole post till the end. See who the judges were during his match with Italian wrestler. One from Swiss Land, one from Cuba, one from Canada. Swedish coach said that it was political. Ara, the wrestler, just blew up. Want to change people and their reactions, good luck. Will never happen.

  7. of course!  To be in the Olympics would be a dream come true, to be known throughout the world, to be seen on television by millions, perhaps billions of people.  I think the guy acted like a complete ***!  He should be ashamed of himself, acting like an idiot.  I am glad that NBC didn't show the classless act.

You also must think of China, and how the U.S. Gymastics coach says that China is using underage girls to compete.  Plus, the fake fireworks displays, and the girl who was singing in the opening ceremonies was just lipsyncing.   It's been pretty much a sham, so far.  China is being idiotic, and arrogant, in protecting it's "perfect" image, which we all know is very imperfect at best!

  8. You can just tell the biased views of people who have answered this question. The question clearly refers to the Swedish wrestler and yet people have found ways to insult China once again! What a joke! Are you really being threatened by China which by the way has 43 billion dollars to spend on Olympics while you guys worry about subprimes and foreclosures?

  9. did he lose to a 10 year old chinese kid?

  10. Good sportsmanship is the very essence of the Olympic Games.....the poor-sport should definitely be stripped of his medal!

  11. he should have listened to this Swedish song,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xK3mVxGfz...

  12. you'd think this man would be proud of all his accomplishments

i think it was rude and disrespectful to the olympic committee and the host country and all of the athletes he beat out for this medal

i hope this man looks at other  bronze medal olympians

and realizes how inappropriately he acted

  13. Well, he already announced that he is going to quit the sport too...and the reason he did it was because he believed the match was rigged.

I dont think its in the spirit of the games, but come on...if you thought your medal-winning match was rigged, and they gave you a 3rd place trophy, wouldnt you be kinda pissed too? Not saying its right, not saying the match WAS rigged, but I get his viewpoint.

  14. No not at all

  15. I thought it was rather childish -

Then I heard he later said about retiring- that might be the most adult moment of his Olympics
