Is this the wittiest, funniest, and certainly the most direct & accurate assessment of Obama's speech or what?

I consider David Brooks to be THE best pundit out there: self-effacing, witty, and with a great sense of humor and perspective (translation: the boy DOES NOT take himself too seriously at all).

Did you read his take on Obama's speech in today's NY Times? It's BRILLIANT!

Please, if you take the time to read the column, would you share your thoughts on it with the rest of us? Thanks!

  1. That is hilarious, maybe Ralph Nader should be considered more in depth.

  2. No, Dave.  Nothing you write is accurate or witty.  You are a smarmy, spinning Zionist AIPAC plant and far from brilliant.  The only way you can spew the blatant falsehoods that you do is with that barely suppressed smirk.  The article was juvenile at best and could have been written by a high school senior.  If someone wrote something like that about Bush or McCain, you would say it was crude and demand an apology.

Just goes to show you that even mediocre juvenile writers can rise to pundit level if they are willing to drink the koolaid, pander to the right wing and repeat the propaganda for the PNAC.

  3. I was looking forward to something good, but this wasn't it. I know he could have done better.

  4. funny.
