Is this the worst british summer weve had in years?

im 38yr old and i know last year wasnt a great summer either but i honestly cant remember a worse one

Do you mean the weather conditions of this summer or just the quality of the the summer itself? If its the latter I'd say it has been bad - credit crunch, too much Big Brother (yet again), inflation, idiots jumping through hoops for gold medals, 35% gas price rises, Etc. As to whether its a worse year than the one before I couldn't tell you as each summer's data is erased from my memory each winter so I can't really compare any of them.

This question would have been much better if it was ' Is this the worst summer we've had in years' but because you have put british, it would have to be the worst question i have answered. Off course british summer is rubbish it always is, the best summer we have ever had was in 2005 - 2006 where temperatures were like 35 degrease

I would rather it rain than be a sticky humid 32 degrees outside in the daytime and a sweaty bedtime 19 degrees.

My goodness!  I don't know where you live, but I have just witnessed the best and warmest few weeks in many a long year.  Yes I am in the UK.  The past week has been quite wet but apart from that, it's been great!

At the end of last year we moved 100+ miles further south and have enjoyed lovely weather since.  

The hottest and driest summer I have ever witnessed was 1976, when all the rivers and lakes looked more like puddles.  It was scorching that year.  :(

Depends on your point of view. Personally I hate hot weather, and it might as well rain until September as far as I am concerned.

yes, it's always raining and so annoying..........
