Is this the year of the Puffy Vest?

I have seen many places like Old navy and Gap selling Puffy Vests for Boys, and I thought that was strange since its only august, but really, with all these stores selling vests, Is this the season of the the Down Vest, or is it just a strange fashion blure?

I never understood the concept of any warm vests.  My arms are what gets cold, not the mid section.  I think they are pointless.  And add weight to the middle.  Ugly.

puffy vest are not and will never be considered fashionable to any sane person

vests are pretty disgusting overall but puffy ones make me want to rip it off the person wearing it
