I want to do, volleyball, gymnastics, softball, and diving (diving off the high dive and doing flips and stuff like that), should I take all of these? I also have school and homework, would this be to much?

  1. Lol it sounds like you're an average student, it won't be too much if you spend your time wisely. I have a lot of extracurriculars outside of high school a few are; job at a hospital, volunteering 4 hours per week, golf team 10 hours per week, studying for the sat 1 hour a week, studying for AP tests ( counts as college classes, don't know if your hs has them), leading several clubs, skipping school to go on a medical mission trip to help kids in southern mexico, and some small things in between.

It's kind of pointless to take all those sports though, I don't know if you're doing it for college application. Colleges look more at your academic and community involvement than what sports you took...  You're better off taking AP classes or dual enrollment community college classes in high school while focusing on 1 sport.

  2. Well Gymnastics and diving can work together volleyball and softball also work together for a good cardio workout. Do you struggle already to keep your grades up ? if not go for it but if it is a struggle at times drop something if not two things as your grades are the most important thing you can concentrate on. The better they are the better you will be.

  3. I would start one at a time. Then see where it goes from there.
