  1. yes. its ok if she doesnt get to do it all. one or two activites are good but that sounds too stressfull. its summer for crying out loud. let her sleep in  and stay up late with girlfriends. Let her RELAX

  2. OMG I don't think it matters if they are already paid for don't torture her....if she wants to stop let her.........just next time don't sign her up for as many things ,save the money for college she will be working hard enough there, let her play and spend quality time with you while she can.

  3. YES, I'M SURE SHE IS TIRED.. WHY SO MUCH FOR A 10YEAR??? IS SHE ENJOYING IT??? IS SHE HAVING FUN ON HER SUMMER BREAK??

MAYBE SUMMER CAMP AND SWIMMING, ALL THAT OTHER STUFF ONLY IF SHE WANTS TO GO. LET HER PICK... WHY OVER WHELM HER LIKE THAT

  4. That is far, far, far too much activities for a child of any age, especially 10. I know that you just want her to have fun and your heart is in the right place, but all of this over-planning and constant demand will burn her out quickly and leave her tired. Instead of enjoying these activities and getting something positive out of them she will end up dreading them and being far too overstimulated believe me! There needs to be at least two days a week where she isn't doing anything planned and a few hours each day where something is planned. She needs some spontaneity and free time, this will allow her to develop her own interests, hone her creativity, get some rest and appreciate the planned stuff when it does come around instead of hating it. Another thing children that age should have AT LEAST 9 hours of sleep a night, maybe even 10 or 11 ideally, and by the way you describe the schedule this poor child is getting about 7. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CUT THE SUMMER ACTIVITY BY AT LEAST HALF!!!

  5. It does seem like a lot, but how is she?  Is she tired, lethargic or is she excited to do everything?  I was very active at that age, and I enjoyed it.  I think what's most important is if she's getting enough quality time with family outside of the activities.  She is also very lucky that she is involved in so many activities.  If she enjoys them.

  6. Good Lord yes!

When does she get time to just be a kid, to play with friends, to lie on her back on the grass and watch the clouds float by?

  7. i wouldnt think so but if its too much for her and everything is paid for then maybe you can do the chores. it would probably help.  or anyhting that you pay monthly or per day or is free then let her quit

  8. way too much for a kid.

    focus on one thing.

    saves money too.
