  1. They are not too young.  Just be careful with the baby and make sure you use WARM water.  Then make sure you dry them both off very well and rub them up a bit to get keep them warm.  Best advice on fleas?  Use a flea comb, then dip the comb in soapy water (dish detergent) to get the fleas off.  Works wonders!  Don't bathe the cat in the water...just the comb.

And cats don't hate water...my cat loves bathtime.

  2. lol.

read on the bottle of the flea shampoo and it will say something like 'do not use on cats under 6 weeks or puppies under 12 weeks' or somwthing like that.

just read on it and if they are ok, it wont be a problem---except for trying to bath them :S cats dont like water as my mum found out when she tried to bath my cat.

also, flea shampoo doesnt walway work, it is better to get frontline. it always works on my cats.

  3. If it's REALLY bad, get some flea medication from your vet and ask them. I would take them to a groomer to get a bath (if needed...don't give a bath after you apply the flea treatment or it will wash off) because like someone else said, they HATE water!!

  4. lol!!  you can try but everyone knows cats hate watter.  have you tried a flee collar or one of those medicated treatments?  and no i dont think theyre too young.

  5. No they both can have flea baths. Also get a flea comb and comb them frequently. They can also have topical medication put on them which works better. Frontline Plus for cats is a good one that I use. Start working on them very diligently otherwise you will end up with fleas in the house. Once they get in the carpeting it is very hard to get them out.

  6. Most products advise against using on kittens under 3 months. Look for a specialized formula for your baby. The 7 month old will be fine with a regular product.  Good Luck!

  7. I would wash them with dawn if anything.

but you MUST get rid of the fleas that live in your house.

Call your vet and ask about the flea bath... problem is if your house has fleas then the kitten will get them immediately again.

I have told you this before but here it is again...

    IF YOUR HOUSE HAS FLEAS….

I have a NATURAL remedy for getting rid of fleas in your house.

Go to the Store and buy some 20 Mule Team BORAX.

Then sprinkle it all over. Carpets, couch, bedding, pillows, pet beds, car, even wood floors. (NOT ON YOUR PET!)

    THEN VACCUME IT UP.

What Boax does is coats the eggs ... The eggs hatch deformed or unable to reproduce.

You will have to do this 2 or 3x about a week apart in order to get all the egg cycles.

FOR YOUR PET. Use the flea killer that is on the market or use a flea comb (this is also a head lice comb) especially for kittens or puppys who are too young to have insecticide put on them.

Kill the fleas that you find on the comb with soap or alcohol

  8. Why are you asking us? Some of us are just guessing, i don't know. Call a vet ASAP! If they evebn have one, obviously they don't because they have fleas. It's gonna spread to you if it hasn't already!

    Call a VET!!!!
