Is this too demanding?

love a guy.I have told him this.He flirts and plays around. He says he loves me and wants me too but kept letting me down by not starting a relationship with me.So I pulled back and this increasingly pissed him off and then he got nasty with me,running down my appearance in front of friends, (totally out of character), then gave me an ultimatum to tell HIM that i loved him.I didn't, so he has been really odd with me since. This whole scenario has gone on ten years.Am I being unreasonable that I want him to stop flirting BEFORE I agree to have a relationship with him?Or do I only have that right when we are together?

  1. You can't make demands without giving something back.  You should only start making rules when you are together.  If not the prospect of a relationship with you will seem too daunting.  'Oh, if she's saying that now and we're not together yet, what's she gonna be like in a year?'.

Chill out, and let things flow naturally.

    Good luck

  2. Kick him into touch and move on without him.

  3. Being a flirtatious person is just how some are. It can easy be stopped if truly wanted.

I mean if I was told it could jeopardize my relationship and I really love the person I wound stop no question.

Its not unreasonable , bu if it stops you from telling him you love him there something more than that.

  4. Ten years?!!!! How old are you. This guy is not someone you want. He sounds like a 12 year old.

  5. Not at all, you are not being to demanding, this is how a girl SHOULD be. you deserve more respect than that, and trust me, if he did truly love you, he wouldn't be flirting with other girls...he's just a stupid boy who thinks he can have power over you, and in it for himself...he's definitely not worth your time... you deserve someone better, who treats you with respect and love

  6. wake up will you this has gone on 10 years oh my god u must be special as no men wait 10 years for a woman anyway he has fell in love with you he wants the same to be loved its called insecurity he has told u he loves you and wxpects it back if u dont love him then finish with him as whats the point in being with him if there is no love
