Is this too much makeup? :S

i am 12, just about 13.

here is the makeup i wear: mascara (great lash) on top and bottom lashes, the shade of light pink lipgloss that looks good on anyone with any makeup look, sometimes i play with neon and metallic eyeshadow (but not a lot, just lining my top lid and in the corner) oh, and concealer when needed.

is this too much? is it S****y? am i too young to be wearing makeup?

people tell me i need to be natural, i am still a kid, i don't need makeup. but really, i don't feel pretty without makeup on. i have no confidence.

I don't think you're too young to be wearing makeup and I don't think it's alot.  A lot of girls at my school wear the same amount as you do and they're not S****y.  But then again you shouldn't have no confidence.

I don't think you're too young to wear makeup.  Unless you're over doing it, or not mature enough to wear it.

It sounds like you have 'less is more' put down.  Just don't go crazy with the eyeshadow.  Or turn your lashes to spiders. :D

just make sure your not going overboard with the eyeshadow

I say a dab of foundation under your eyes if its a problem.... just mascara and lip gloss is enough...... any more then that then you've got parents teachers and friends all thinking ur a hussey or ur parents dont care about how their child is looking.  Just do yourself a favor and remember "less is more!!!"

That is perfeclty fine! No to much make up h**l when i was 11 I wore that much make up! But don't worry bout what other people say. You'r not to young and its not S****y. S****y would be wearing mini skirt's and low cut tank tops like i do.

no but it isnt the right make up im 12 and i wear eyeliner both lower and upper lids and mascara and i get white eyeshadow then put tan over it and it looks great then i get a eyeshadow color near the color of my brow then put on my brow then some clear or very light pink lipgloss then if needed cover up and thats it

i can't go out of the house without makeup either, and i wear a lot to achieve the "natural look", ironic?

i wear foundation, powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and lipchap.

It doesn't sound like too much.  Just try to be as natural as you can.  Although I don't think mascara and a little shadow (to help bring out/brighten your eyes is too much.  The lip gloss, stick with a natural look there, no neon or metallic.  At your age it really isn't too young these days, as long as you don't go OVERBOARD.  Good Luck Sweetie!!

stick to more natural eyeshadow, neon and metallics look kinda tacky and pretty much horrible!!!!

just stick to some pinks or tans with maybe some shimmer and the pink gloss or clear sounds better to me.

i'm almost 14 and i dont need to wear make up. i know i am not that prettty but the other day some guy just said i have real pretty eyes. sometimes it is just better to be natural.....you might get noticed more for being you. not a cover up for the real you.

Okay I am shocked of how low self esteem you have. I'm sure that you are a very pretty young girl, and you really don't need all that makeup. Here's a little secret my teacher told me, when young girls wear lots of makeup when they get old their skin gets all wrinkly, ad I'm sure you don't want that happening to you. I think that you should wear a little eye liner sometimes, but not all the time, and I think that you shouldn't wear makeup just because you don't feel pretty, but to show your beautiful face.

Concealor, bronzer, mascara and chapstick or gloss is all you need. I would cut out the neon. Bronze is ok. It's not S****y at all though. You might not be putting it on right. I bet you are very pretty. I don't go out without makeup either.
