Question:

Is this too much?

Ive started doing this about last week and i was wondering if its too much to do for me. I weight almost 100 pounds and i do this every other day.

Stretch, splits, wall splits, leg stretches, turns, fouetteys, split leaps, side leaps, switch leaps, 1, 8 count of high kicks for my right and left leg, can cans, fan kicks, russians heel grabs and then i stretch again and do my splits again.

Is this too much excersize and too much to be doing everyday or should i maybe be doing more?

  3. as long as you're fit and healthy I'd keep it up because you're incorporating cardiovascular exercise into your routine

  4. If you don't feel too overworked when your done then you should be fine! Maybe if you're too tired after then just do an hour or something?

  5. It doesn't sound like too much. Because at one point in time, I was dancing 6 days a week between ballet, pointe, and rehearsals. So I was doing more than that and i was maybe 5'3" 110. So just listen to your body. My legs get shaky when I dance after a vacation. Its not always a bad thing, just our muscles maybe getting fatigued, but your water break should help out, and make sure you are breathing through all the exercises and stretches. And if this is all you're doing because you're on break from dance, then maybe add some crunches in there for extra abdominal strength. (Like 3 sets of 20 repetitions or more if you can) Great job!

  6. no it's not too much that's good P.S I heard that crunches help your turns and your balance so you should add those =^..^=

  7. It depends. what is your height? How long in terms of minutes do you do all these exercises?

  8. That's a wonderful alternative to not taking class everyday, but if you DO take class everyday, do more, you will improve MUCH faster, and your stamina is built with the classes everyday, so you should be able to do more

  9. that sounds like a good amount, if you start getting really exhausted, you should stop.
