Question:

Is this too rude an answer to anyone who questions my testimony?

The truth is not in the details,

nor how the story is told.

But the story is the truth,

of the story that is told.

What can Satan know of honesty.

When his lie is hid in sincerity.

His sincerity lives in the doubt,

that clouds the truth without.

You're looking for the light,

that is sent to give you sight.

The question that derails.

Is the devil in the details.

  1. yes its too rude to answer anyone who questions your "testimony"

  2. If someone questions your testimony, why don't you answer the question with some facts to back up your testimony, rather than nonsense like, "If you don't believe me, it's not because I can't show the truth of what I'm saying, (even though I can't) it's because you're influenced by Satan.", or "believe what I tell you because I believe it", or Bible quotes that don't prove anything?

All they have to do is try to "ask for something in His name" like you and the Bible tell them to, and your testimony will fall flat on it's face.  That's all it takes to prove that it's a lie.

  3. Anyone has the right to question your testimony just like you can question theirs never-the-less I agree with your sentiments the bible doesn't explain everything step by step but what we need to know is in the bible

Satan knows nothing of honesty his name alone means slanderer he is the god of lies his entire mission is to mislead and try to blind people to the light so that the glorious good news can't get through.

  4. Rude no, stupid yes.  The truth is in the details.

  5. No, it is way too dumb and makes you (and other christians) look dumb when you say that.

  6. hmm... when someone questions your testimony, why don't you answer exactly what they are questioning? Giving generic responses won't show them you're point of view... as you can see from the other answers you've received, it'll just make you look like you're arrogant, and telling them 'believe me or go to h**l'.

Which, by the way, is rude.

  7. So if someone disagrees with you, it must be because they're lying for Satan?

You've got a serious problem, kid. You're WAY too arrogant, and not nearly bright enough. You also don't seem to have any moral decency at all. If I were you, I'd be concerned about my own flaws rather than laying into others.

    ==================

"John 14:10 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I speak not from myself: but the Father that lives in me, he speaks the words."

Like I said, WAY too arrogant.

Doesn't it bother you at all to behave so poorly? I have never seen any atheist act as childishly as you just did right here.

  8. It's not an answer at all, it's just artistic rationalization.

  9. Scooter,

The Apostle Paul said this, "I have become all things to all men that I might by all means win some of them." He goes on and elaborates on this to say that He does his best, when witnessing to people to present the good news to them in the way that is most understandable to them. He said that to the Jews He was Jewish and to the Greeks he was as a Greek.

Christians are to be willing to be humble and kind and to go to the extra effort to share with people in the way that is best for them, Not for you!  In the New Testament there were times when people rejected the good news of what God had done for them through Jesus. When that happened Paul and others did not get angry, they just shook the dust of that town off their sandals and moved on to the next place God was sending them.

They are our examples in Christian practice.  Let all you do be done in genuine love, Scooter.

  10. No, just sounds like a horrible poem to me.

  11. Best face it scooter! Lord Byron you ain't!

    What a c**p poem!

  12. So in truth you have a massive amount of proof of the existence of God and Satan, other than you merely believe that?
