No, it's perfect.  It's not too dressy but it's not too casual.  You don't want to show your bf's parents that you dress trashy or underdress.  When in doubt, overdress :D.

if its the first time, yes. unless you're going out to a fancy restaurant. but its very sassy, i  like it, but not the minnie mouse shoes! you want to wear black shoes with it. and i hate the gladiator shoes, who made those fashionable?

if you feel like it looks too serious then you will feel like they will think it looks too serious. and since your asking yahoo answers i guess you feel this way. besides, there are going to be different opinions here too.

meeting the parents isnt that huge of a deal. and unless your wearing something extreme dont think theyre even going to care what your wearing. be comfortable :) then you are more likely to be yourself!

its not too serious though, it looks gorgeous. also depends where your going...

I'm not sure I would wear that outfit to meet the parents. Use the black and white theme but use nice black capris instead :) Good luck

i think its a little too dressy but maybe its just me, im more used to a casual laid back look.

well its not serious its more dressy.... wear something a little more laid back like a cute top and skinny jeans or something
