  1. I'd say so. Tejada is getting old, and Damon isn't like he was on Boston. I'd say do it.

  2. dont listen to these guys man. carlos lee is sick for rbi and hr. tejada is aging and damon has been hurt. unless you need speed or runs or something, then dont do it. i guess its a fair trade, but seriously, NOT worth it.

  3. yeah a little bit

  4. Yeah thats fair but the side who gets Lee is winning since tejada started so hot his numbers still look good but he has not been the same player he was when the season started.

  5. Yes if you are getting Lee. But only do it if you have another shortstop and are in need of a corner outfielder who has good power.

  6. Its a tough choice. Lee is definitely the better hitter with his numbers at the plate being roughly the same as Tejada and Damon combined. However, Damon will have a better BA by the end of the year and steal more bases than Lee. If you need HR's and RBI's, go for it. Otherwise, think long and hard because by getting Lee, you will lose the run production (Lee=56 runs, Damon/Tejada=127 runs) and steals (Lee=4 steals, Damon/Tejada= 23 steals). And the fact that Lee is a Top 20 player overall and the 3rd best outfielder in most fantasy leagues will make the deal even harder to make, and you better have a good back-up shortstop. Based on avg. fantasy league stat categories (AVG./HR's/RBI's/R's/SB's) Lee will give you better HR's/RBI's but Tejada+Damon will give you better R's/SB's (the averages are about even). The choice is yours in the end and it should be based on what your team needs. Hope whatever you chose works out for you.
