Is this trade favourable?

Im thinking about offering this trade i would just like some input as im in too minds about it

LaDainian Tomlinson for Derek Anderson, Marques Colston, Ryan Grant

I currently have Marc Bulger as my QB and have Braylon Edwards as my 1st choice WR and quite average 2nd and 3rd choice WRs

  1. Tough call.  Show us your whole team (aka the guys that the incoming acquisitions will replace.  It'd be nice to see what the net effect is).


  2. Great trade, even though Grant won't produce like last year he will still be valuable and all together the three players stats and overall worth out-weigh LT alone.

  3. It depends.

    Is the drop off you're going to suffer from LT to your backup running back going to be compensated for by the upgrades you've been offered at QB and WR?

    If so, pull the trigger on the deal.

  4. I would keep LT. He definately is the best player in the world of fantasy football. Derek Anderson is not guaranteed to have another great season and like No Brains said neither is Ryan Grant. You probably don't have a RB that can replace LT and you already have Braylon who I like more than Colston this season.

  5. I have a few thoughts.

    1. Grant is not going to be as good as last season.  Teams had to respect Favre.  Aaron Rodgers will see the line stacked to stop Grant, until he proves he can burn them.

    2. LT is one of the last great feature backs in the NFL.  He doesn't share too many carries, he's a terrific receiver, he's durable, has a good O-line, and he has other weapons around him that keep teams from hammering him.

    The trade is certainly fair, but what will you have to DROP to stay within roster limits?  It's not just LT, it's LT and two dropped players which add to the cost.

    Bulger is a great QB, and I expect him to bounce back nicely.  The Rams were decimated by injury.

    I would keep LT.  It sounds like your team is already very solid.  I prefer durable, and proven over "s**y."

  7. do it. thats a pretty nice return for Tomlinson. if he takes it then go for it.
