Is this truck worth a buy? 1998 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4 131,x*x miles $2900

I don't know the truck engine size yet. I just saw the car listed in my newspaper.

The truck is listed as having hail damage (sun spots).

A 2 door.

You are looking at a vehicle that any dealer would be glad to give $300. to $500.00 as a trade in. I wouldn't give $2900.00 for it.

If you want this, take it to AAA and they will inspect it to make sure that it is safe to be on the road.  If it looks like junk it is junk.

in a word, no. that price is terriblel and the engine size is a 4.0 V6 with 210hp and gets crappy mileage any way. just look up www.kbb.com hope this helps!
