Is this true, my dad said he read it in the newspaper somewhere?

k so my dad told me that he read somewhere in a russian newspaper that some terrorist organization ( i think he said theyre called alkaids or something with an A. not sure how to spell it). well he read that they said they might blow up some major cities, in the U.S. i think he said it was gona be an atomic bomb or w.e it dont matter what type of bomb. anyway anyone heard about this or know if its true, if yes please show me somewhere or something that says this or states this.thanks a bunch

Al-Qaeda...there are missing nukes in Russia and the fear is that they will be smuggled across the Mexican border and used in a city.

Currently the fear is mostly dirty bombs that use radioactive waste and explode it in a populated area..the radiation then is spread by winds in a wider area.

But so far there only have been isolated personal jihads since 9-11 and the feds ignore the fact that there are tose that follow the radical muslim way and are not a threat.

I think we, Americans, need to STOP being so paranoid about everything. The last administration used fear as a way to gain power and stay in power. We need to be concerned, but not be blinded by fear, which at times is not a legitimate fear or concern, but one made up to gain power and control.

It is currently somewhat unlikely but will be highly likely with another republican president. They are militaristic and unthoughtful of consequences of slaughtering innocent bystanders. This is described as blowback. When we kill people that are innocent in order to kill potential terrorist threats, many people become angry and hatred for america grows. Thus increasing the probability of groups to unite against us with true cause....... also 9/11 was caused by american imperialism and lack of empathy towards other cultures. We use Israel as an american base to keep muslims weak and keep control of the oil...  America has a lot of work to do starting with compassion and supporting the U.N. If we believe in a democracy we must support a world democracy that we follow.....
