Is this true? Are you 18 the day before you turn 18?

I heard that the day before you turn 18, you are already legally 18. How does this work? Is this just some rumour or whatnot?

Let's say your birthday is June 20.  On June 19 at 11:59 PM you will turn 18 in one minute.

Don't think so. When I worked at a Juvenile Detention Center we walked the inmates over to the county jail at exactly midnight the day of their 18th birthday.

Actually,  I heard you are really 18 when you turn 17 because of the time in the womb and when your born you are 1 yr old not 0 yrs old.

Legally, you turn 18 on your birth date, not before.

Look at your Birth Certificate, to see the time of birth and then you'll have your answer.
