Is this true? That majority in the UK don't believe global warming is caused by humans?

Because most still believe in it in the US. It seems that most Americans don't even know what's happening in other countries.

It is also true that most of the people in the UK don't believe that humans are caused by humans, how could you ever base a decision upon what they believe.

Its not that we don't know what's happening in other countries, it's just that we no longer care.

It's pretty easy to demonstrate that the earth has been both warmer and colder in the past than it is now. There are tropical plants under the ice in Antarctica, and we have ancient maps that show the coastline of Antarctica as it exists under the ice. What's hard to demonstrate is that humans are the cause.

For some strange reason, what you believe on this topic is strongly tied to whether or not you derive your income from government grants to research the environment. Said researchers tend to think there's a crisis that only funding their research will solve, while those who are able to step back and take a disinterested look tend to be more moderate in their opinions.

Lets hope it is, lets hope people start to wake up and realize that the UN report on global warming, much like anything else the UN does, is a load of garbage.  Even if global warming is real, the UN's proposals simply seek to tax the more wealthy countries and give that money to a bunch of dictators.  Lets not wreck our economy and future trying something that will have no impact.  If we want to help out other people there are plenty of ways that would be more effective and be affordable.

They have been under the control of the global warming movement longer than we have and are now realizing that it is a big scam.  It only costs the average citizen more money, while the temperature of the earth keeps changing.
