Is this true about Stenography?

Is it true that the career of Stenography is not in high demand no more...and in a few years it wont be used that much?????

Stenography will serve you throughout your life - it helped me get great jobs, it's perfect for taking notes, if you work as a journalist, there's nothing to compare it to - I still use it to remember quotes or jokes and I do work in journalism.

If you are thinking of become a Court Reporter, according to statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand should actually increase.  Here's a link to a pdf file from that site that talks about court reporters:

Although I wasn't sure if you meant becoming a stenographer to get into the court reporting field or not.

it isn't in high demand anymore, but it is still used. especially in law. they will not be getting rid of it, more like phasing it out
