Is this true about adderall?!?

I just read somewhere that they are actually replacing Adderall with Vyvanse...as in no more production of adderall..!! Is this true? I am prescribed this and it works perfectly and from what I hear, Vyvanse sucks. And yes I know that adderall has a higher amount of amphetamines than Vyvanse and that's why it's not as strong etc. So if you know information on this, please let me know! Thanks.

They are not going to replace adderall with vyvance. They are two different meds. Like the guy above, adderall XR will oneday soon be coming out with a generic.

Adderall XR's patent runs out - that actually means that other companies can produce a generic equivalent, so the proce will go down.
