I heard from a book that stated that technically, if a person isn't white, Christian, conservative, and born in the US they're considered a minority.

  1. I didn't hear from the book so in my neighborhood we are all in it together helping each other through whatever comes upon us.

  2. You can be a majority in one thing, and a minority in another.

  3. If you "heard" this from a book - WOW!   a talking book.  I am sure that you read this misinformation somewhere, but in the US of A every man (woman and child) is equal.   I am white, female, Jewish and a democrat - and I do not consider myself a minority - even if there are just a few Jewish people in my neighborhood!    Hope this helps you.

  4. I'm white and live in Los Angeles County, CA.  I AM the minority here.

  5. As far as I know a minority is anyone who is NOT...a white male! (but not a white Jew though, he would be minority). Females, all non-white races, etc...is considered a minority. You need to know it was the rich, land owning, white male, that started this country and to this day still make the rules.

    Go Obama!
