  1. the 1,000mg is referring to the amount of acetaminophen, a lot of people don't seem to know that...

As long as the first numbers (the smaller one) adds up to the other one, than they are the same. Like say you have 2 that are 5/500, and 1 that is 10/1,000 (though I don't even make that), than they would be the same in effect.

  2. I've never heard of that, I mean they both add up to the same mgs, but check out Kristine's answer, she sounds like she knows what she's talking about, but from personal experience, I never noticed either one being stronger, they were the same.

p.s. The person above me's answer is nonsence.  You just simply asked a question, that does NOT mean you are using them for "recreational" use...geez....I get that sometimes when I use them for my endometriosis & I can't stand that type of thinking.

  3. i dont know, if it's the same mg then i don't see how it could be any stronger.

  4. I think the 2 pills will hit you faster. Just because 2 smaller pills desolve faster.

1 pill will desolve slower, but wont hit you as fast thus lasting longer. or the same.

Doubt 1 pill is just stronger.

  5. You know;

Ive actually heard the same thing. I can tell you one thing though; here there is mostly "pill heads" & vicodins go for almost $10 a pill. People beat the heck out of eachother for them. =/ Its bull c**p.

  6. I think that in would be the same and the mg is all that matters.

  7. What?

A 2,500mg dose would, obviously, be more than taking a 1,000 dose.

  8. i've actually never heard that. it wouldn't make much sense...

  9. i dont think its true..

  10. No, my mother has had back surgery and takes vicodin and she takes 1045, its like 600 Tylenol and the rest pain killer.

  11. I think what you mean is will it have the same effect taking 1000 verses taking 2500? Its not actually stronger in killing pain wise because the medicine will cancel itself out it taken too much, and then you will overdose and die in pain. I would stick to the mormal dose :)

  12. taking two 500mg vicodin tablets will have a stronger effect than taking one 1000mg tablet.  This is because your stomach will break down the two tablets at the same time, it wont start to break one down and wait until it is finished before it starts breaking down the second.

A pill is made so that not all of the vicodin is released at once, but slowly as the pill is broken down and this is why taking two pills will have a stonger effect, the surface area is increased.  Also if a even stronger effect is wanted then you could break the 1000mg pill in half and take them both.

... does that make sense.  You can ask me further if you want to know.

  13. that's not true.  it's the exact same, mg is all that matters.

  14. Ask your doctor. If this was not prescribed to you, don't take it. If it was prescribed to you take as directed. Most people by the time they are old enough to be mading decisions about using recreational drugs have also known someone who has either really messed up their body, their life, their mind or died from drug use, yet they still go down that road.

If this is the most interesting and fun thing you can think of to do with your time, get some friends who are creative enough to know how to have fun, get some interests of your own and get some help because if you felt good about who you are you would not be making these choices.
