Is it true that if you throw an apple or fruit in the air in front of a bat, will the bat bite it and get its teeth stuck in it then fall....

No bats are smart animals they will catch the food

No, they dont catch prey with their teeth. But my husband always talks about when he was a kid they would throw a sock filled with rocks in the air when they heard bats and it would knock them down everytime.

Bats catch with their wings, not their teeth.  They use their wings like catcher's mitts and scoop food into their mouths.
