My friends little brother can't seem to keep his hands out of his pants. He is like 7-9 yrs old. Anyways while i was eating in the dining room, the little kid was watching tv and i guess he started to play with himself cause i heard his mom tell him that if he keeps playing with himself his thing is going to stop growing and the girls won't like him. I thought it was funny at first but i started thinking is this possible?

  1. No, of course it's not true. Masturbation is perfectly safe and healthy at any age. This poor little boy needs to know that; but he should also understand  that it's not polite to be too obvious about it public. Plenty of parents are OK about young kids watching TV with their hands in their pockets, quite obviously masturbating, but discreetly.

If his mother keeps handling the situation so badly, he's going to end up feeling embarrassed and guilty about a pleasure he has every right to enjoy. I don't know whether you or your friend are in a position to explain the true facts to this child; if you could you'd be doing him an enormous favour.

Just so you know the facts yourself, this is from Wikipedia:

"A 1997 study in the British Medical Journal based upon 918 men age 45-59 found that after a ten year follow-up, men who had fewer orgasms were twice as likely to die of any cause as those having two or more orgasms a week."

Put another way - having at least two orgasms a week halves your chance of dying between the ages of 45 and 59.

You can see how this makes sense - when you m********e your heart beats faster, and your breathing speeds up. Since the heart and lungs are two of the most important organs in the body, any safe activity that exercises them is good for your general health.

    So there!

  2. wow, kids are crazy

  3. Haha ofcoarse not, parents say stupid things in attempt to stop what the child was doing because it didn't look appropriate. Its all normal by the way, boys from a very young age begin to touch and become fascinated with their body and what it does.

  4. No that isn't possible, and it's a dumb thing to say, and stupid way to handle the event.

At age 7 or 9, he probably isn't even thing of girls. It's just a mindless habbit that he go because it feels good to touch it. It's pushing him ahead of where he's at, and putting a crazy attachment to it.

She needs to be honest with him and truthful like telling him that she knows that it feels good but it supposed to be private and not done where other people can see, and give good positive reasons about it all and make the private part a positive and good thing too so that he remebers it.

She can fine tune it from there by making it an expectation with a reward and not acceptable, now that he fully understands why, and not because it is dirty and disgusting, but there are just some things that you aren't allowed to do in front of other people. Poor t**d will get himself teased or in trouble if he does it in the wrong places! Hahaha!

    Hope that helps Man

    Me! :- )

  5. probably not

  6. That is absurd. Your mother has only said that because it's not a nice thing to look at seeing anyone playing with their bits, should it be at home or in public. That's the reason she said it.

So no it is not true and no it is impossible.

  7. No...  the reverse is true...  A p***s is like a balloon the more you inflate it  ( use it )   the bigger it ends up, but only to a certain point. Careful...  Don't be too rough there, cause you can also damage it if you are too hard on it.

But NO..  His mom simply did not want him doing it in public and she should know better than to say anything like that to him.

She should have said it in private and more like could you do that in your room.

    Hope that works for ya...

  8. Of course it is not possible, makes no sense that normal arousal would curb growth.  But parents say that to discourage kids from playing with themselves. She should have told him it is not polite to play with your privates in public.  And obviously should have told him that some time ago.

  9. no way....that's real silly.

  10. No - she was just trying to shame him into stopping what he was doing.
